Responsible for the analysis and assessment of current legacy Solaris environment; conducting operations assessment validating system inventory of Legacy Solaris Environment; reviewing existing process, identifying improvement opportunities in context of system availability, monitoring and management; providing advanced services to define written functional and technical specifications that meet client’s business needs and system requirements including network architecture, processing volume, and host/legacy interfaces; use an understanding the applications and dependents services supported on platform to perform duties; utilize UNIX, Linux, Python, Bash scripting, DB2, C, C++ and SRDF Technology to perform duties; reviewing all system dependencies between operations and external systems and organizations; identifying all system integration touch points; identifying system operating platforms, database and network issues; performing interview with key operational and business personnel; performing Migrations and Up-Gradations as required; work closely with developers to automate and create dashboards for better monitoring and reporting of health performance of Solaris servers;  make inventories, heath checks, planning and executing software and hardware changes needed with minimal disruption in services to client; providing guidance to clients in the selection of the best 11i transformation platforms; and identifying potential benefits and savings to be realized through transformation/exit of the legacy EBS 11i hosting environment.

Education: Masters – Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Business Management Systems, Management, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

Training: None

Experience: One (1) year in the position above, as a Computer Systems Analyst, or in a related occupation;

Other Requirements: Experience must include one (1) years use of UNIX, Linux, Python, Bash scripting, DB2, C, C++ and SRDF Technology.

Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
